In order to be eligible to practice you must have a physical and fully completed eligibility packet completed. The packet will be available on-line on Aug. 1, 2017. You may access through Family ID.

Practices are everyday after school from 2:45 – 5:00 p.m.
Activity busses will be available Mondays-Thursdays on school days (leave at 5:15 p.m.)
Game schedules are yet to be determined. Team game schedules will be provided as soon as they become available. (First game will be around Sept. 20)
The coaching staff highly recommends that you begin getting in shape prior to the first day of practice. A suggested workout schedule is below. You are encouraged to find a friend or workout partner to make your training more enjoyable. We suggest you stretch before and after your workouts. Also, begin all sprints from a 3-point football stance. Maximum effort will always be an expectation! In addition we are including information about football camps being sponsored by Mt. Spokane HS.
Jog ½ mile
Sprint 30 yards/6 times (always jog back)
3 sets of 15 push-ups
3 sets of 20 crunches (rotate with push-ups)
Jump rope/3 times – 60 seconds each
Jog ¼ mile
Sprint 20 yeard/10 times (jog back)
3 sets of 20 push-ups
3 sets of 25 crunches
Jump rope/5 times – 60 seconds each
We also encourage any players who are potential quarterbacks to begin throwing. It would be ideal if you can find receivers to throw to. Set up a scheduled time to meet and commit to keep these “self” practice times. We need leaders in this program. If you qualify, ORGANIZE and CHALLENGE your teammates to get ready. Coaches cannot be present at your workouts, but rules do not prohibit you from getting together and working out.
Kickers, punters, and long snappers should also do some extra work this summer.
Make sure you have purchased football cleats and worn them in by the time practice starts.
Lastly, encourage your friends to turn out. There is a direct correlation between numbers of participants and team success. The more the better!
